Different Duck Films

About Us

Different Duck Films officially became a company in 2007, although the name itself was established in 1994 by founder, Rob Margolies, based on how he was personally perceived by family and friends for always thinking outside the box. Rob was an 11-year-old cinephile in 1994, the year that he learned that he can aspire to be a filmmaker and tell his own stories one day. 1994 was also the year that The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, and Forrest Gump were released. The differences between those 3 classics define what this company is inspired by, and what it achieves to accomplish in terms of creating uniquely diverse and timeless art.
